When you sign up to take part in the Summer Maths Challenge, you are given a practice tracker, which awards you a badge each time you practice Komodo.

We recommend that children spend around 15 minutes at a time practicing Komodo, but it doesn't matter how long they spend as long as they take a break from Komodo for at least an hour before practicing again.

It also doesn't matter how many lessons your child completes each time they practice - whether they do one lesson or five still counts as one practice session and they will get one badge for it on their practice tracker.

Why do we do it like this? The Komodo learning system has been set up to take advantage of little and often learning, which is the way the brain learns best - find out more here.

So, the best thing to do is have your child practice for 10 or 15 minutes, and then go and do something else for at least an hour (preferably a day!) before coming back to their Komodo practice.
